Repair Warranty Terms

Warranty Period: Three (3) months from the date the device completed repair/replacement.

What the warranty covers: The warranty only covers the part replaced or repaired by Silicon Lab. If that same part develops a problem again within 3 months, we will fix it at no extra charge.

Warranty does not cover: Damage caused by customer misuse (e.g., dropping the device, water damage, external breakage, being handled by another technician outside Silicon Lab after the repair). In these cases, new repairs will be charged.

Warranty Decision: Silicon Lab's technician/management decides, after inspection, whether the reported issue relates to the previous work (warranty-eligible) or is a new problem/customer damage.
